Specify 6 Training Workshops

We are planning a two-day Specify training workshop in Lawrence, Kansas on September 21-22, 2010. There are a small number of seats available. If you are interested in attending, please contact Andy Bentley (abentley@ku.edu) for availability and logistics information. Participants need to cover their own travel, housing and per diem expenses, but the workshop and rubbing antennae with the Specify team are free.

Andy and Theresa Miller held a training workshop at the University of Texas, Austin last week at the invitation of Dr. Ann Molineux. The 18 participants were from UT-Austin, Univ. of North Texas, Angelo State Univ., and Texas A&M Univ.-Galveston. Specify workshops are often organized by collections sites; we will announce available spaces as meetings are organized. Two international workshops are planned for later this year in Melbourne and Perth, Australia, dates to be determined.
