Specify 6.3 Portuguese
What do you mean by "the data panel is english yet." There were many changes to the UI and a few to the database schema. These new string for 6.3 have not yet been translated into PT. Once they are we will release an update to Specify for 'PT' so to speak.

Ok, thanks a lot again, good
Ok, thanks a lot again, good news to Portuguese users. Here the menu bar (File, Edit etc..) are in Portuguese, even the tools bar (Welcome, Data, tree ...), but when appears Collection Object form the left bar shows its components in English (because of 6.3 schema possibly). Please, see a print screen image:

I'm sorry if I was misunderstood.
Specify 6 Portuguese
Hi, I have a different issue related with the use of Specify 6 in Portuguese. I though it would be better to ask here instead of making a new post.
My issue is that Specify 6 does not recognise portuguese accents, so some names get quite messy, as you can see in this picture:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4050232/specify6-accent-issues.jpg
However, when you look at data imported from an excel file, the accents are displayed correctly (as you can see in the right side of the picture in the link above).
I imagine this has to do with the language setting from JAVA, but the JAVA tools available in windows did not allow me to change character encoding.
I read it is supposed to get this information from windows, but I am using Portuguese language definitions so I don't think this is the problem.
I would appreciate any help in order to fix this issue.
Thanks
Filipe
