"Automatic" mapping
Usually choosing "importa Data" I don´t need remap, but the excel file needs the almost same name (except the end number) from previous file imported. But, I didn´t try to import new files by the last version of Specify.
Tip: To help this problem I have renamed the first row (headers) with the same name of Specify Field, i.e. to "Number of Collection" you need change to exactelly "Catalog Number"; for "Local" use "Locality Name"; for "Sex" use "Text 1 (Col. Obj. Atributte)". Thus the mapping is automatic. Another tip is add a comment to each cell with your own field name, for example in "Text 1 (Col. Obj. Atributte)" add a comment "Sex", it´s work.
To Know the correct name of fields into workbench in the map window, put the cursor on the name of field that you need when this field are in use in the mapping. Example, map "Text 1" from Coll Object Attribute to any field e put the mouse cursor on the "Text 1", you will see the workbench name field to map "Text 1 (Col. Obj. Atributte)".
I hope it´s help.
That was the next step I was
That was the next step I was going to take. I even went as far as digging into the database and changing the WorkbenchTemplateID in the workbench table to no avail.
