Determination error when editing collection objects

I'm currently working on cross cataloging some of our collection with the National Park Service.
When I click on "edit" for the collection object record, there is no problem, but when I "Save" I get an "Issue of Concern": "There is already a current Determination". I'm not creating a new record, just editing one already in our records.
I can not save the record, but discard changes. Then I "edit" and retype the information and "save" and it works.

Any one else come across this and know how to fix it that when I edit and save, not have any errors?

additional infomration

I can't get it to repeat itself.
I closed out the tab... repeated the query, and now have no problems editing the records.
